Here at SantaCharities.org our concern is for children living in disadvantaged communities who are susceptible to recruitment by gangs. We know that young kids are lured into joining gangs in their early teens. Gangs know that children under the age of 16 are not able to be legally prosecuted in the same manner as adults and therefore recruited as lookouts and the initial point of contact for the sale of drugs.

These kids are given large cash payments for their work as well as prestige, security and a sense of belonging which they may not find if from a dysfunctional family.

SantaCharities.org initial focus is to raise funds to provide an alternative path for these vulnerable children so they can attend educational day and overnight summer camps as well as professional tutoring which will take them out of their neighborhood settings and expose them to new and creative possibilities in the areas of robotics, video production, drones, 3D printing, computer programming, music and art.
